Serves 2

Have this Creole mackerel with cassava, baked sweet potato or oven fries. The dinner party can begin. Serve with a fresh red onion pickle or a boiled egg if desired!
Plan
- 300 grams of fillet of mackerel (buy fillet or whole mackerel)
- 90 grams of Creole spice paste from Sorgh & Hoop
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion or 3 tbsp sliced onion
- 1 chopped tomatoes and 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp chopped fresh pepper

Prep
- Finely chop 1 onion and garlic.
- Dice tomato.
- Clean the mackerel. Remove the skin. After this, remove large pieces of fish from the bone and set aside.
Plezier
- Add the oil and 2 Tbsp of Creole spice paste in a skillet.
- Add the sliced onion and tomatoes. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
- Gently fry the pieces of Mackerel in the pan with the marinade.
- If necessary, add more tomato paste and pepper to taste.
